One piece from wikileaks facebook page capture the essence of the wikileaks: “America has demonized it. Chinese have blocked it. Iran called it as mischief. Russia called it ridicules. But, we the people want it saved.”
I was first aghast at how real politics is conducted behind the doors. (Alright, I was naive to think they were different. ) But later, all governments are trying to censor it. It appears more and more to me that wikileaks represents a movement to decentralize the flow of information, to counter the control of information by government and multinationals. No one doubts that this counter-act is a double-edged sword, whose consequences are yet to see.
